National Coach Selection: ✔️ DONE  Now states need coaches – state leaders revisit your plans if you have one.  Appoint a coach  Appoint a technical development team  Appoint a team of skills and workshop development team  Work on plans to enhance the game  Don’t wait for MHC, support them form now onwards  Age levels groups, coaches and also plan’s 2. Develop a Comprehensive Blueprint:  Craft a detailed plan outlining short-term and long-term goals for Malaysian hockey.  Include strategies for player development, coaching programs, tournament participation, and community engagement. 3. Establish a Dedicated Team:  Form a team of experienced professionals to support Sarjit Singh, support your state development, support your state coach and more  Assign roles and responsibilities for various aspects of hockey development, including coaching, talent scouting, administration, and player welfare. 4. Engage with Ministry of Education:  Initiate discussions with the Ministry of Education to align school sports programs with national hockey objectives.  Advocate for increased support, funding, and facilities for hockey in schools.  Also care for the kids education, support them on knowledge with extra classes and balance work load so they wont be left out in the process  Propose the inclusion of hockey tournaments and coaching initiatives in school curriculums. 5. Define Clear Objectives:  Set clear and measurable objectives for player development, grassroots programs, coaching standards, and tournament performance.  Regularly review and adjust objectives based on progress and feedback. 6. Enhance Tournament Support:  Increase the frequency and diversity of tournaments, including those for Chinese schools, Tamil schools, and other communities.  Provide logistical and financial support to teams participating in domestic and international competitions. 8. Establish Players Care Team:  Create a dedicated team to address the holistic needs of players, including physical health, mental well-being, and academic support.  Offer scholarships, perks, and tuition assistance to talented players to ensure their holistic development. 9. Promote State-Level Participation:  Encourage each state to field three teams in various competitions, fostering greater participation and talent development at the grassroots level.  Organize state-level tournaments and carnivals to promote hockey and identify emerging talent. By following this structured approach and implementing each step effectively, Malaysian hockey can undergo a comprehensive transformation, leading to sustained success and growth in the sport. A STRATEGY IN NEED Here’s a strategic approach to incentivize states to actively participate in hockey development. Here's how you can implement it: 1. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):  Define specific KPIs for each state, including participation rates in events, number of training camps organized, talent identification efforts, etc.  Ensure that these KPIs are realistic, measurable, and aligned with national hockey development objectives. 2. Funding Allocation Based on Performance:  Allocate funding to states based on their performance in meeting the established KPIs.  States that demonstrate proactive efforts in hockey development and meet or exceed their KPIs should receive continued financial support. 3. Incentivize Performance Improvement:  Offer incentives such as additional funding, recognition, or resources to states that show significant improvement in their hockey programs.  Recognize and reward states that excel in talent development, grassroots initiatives, and overall program effectiveness. 4. Accountability and Monitoring:  Implement a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track the performance of each state against their KPIs.  Hold states accountable for their performance and provide feedback and support to help them improve. 5. Transitioning Support to Clubs:  Identify well-performing clubs within states and explore opportunities to transition funding and support to these clubs.  Provide clubs with resources, training, and guidance to effectively manage and grow hockey programs at the grassroots level. 6. Capacity Building and Training:  Offer capacity-building programs and training sessions for clubs to enhance their organizational capabilities, coaching standards, and player development initiatives.  Empower clubs to become key drivers of hockey development within their communities. 7. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:  Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between successful clubs and states to replicate best practices and innovative approaches.  Establish a network or forum for clubs to exchange ideas, resources, and experiences in hockey development.
